Congratulations to Kyle Palmquist who was awarded with the 2013 Eugene P. Odum Award for having the best student paper at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Southeastern Biologists. Kyle is a CEE student in Bob Peet’s lab. Here award-winning paper is titled: “Species frequency patterns in the longleaf pine (Pinus palustris Mill.) ecosystem: characterizing the identity and dynamics of infrequent plant species.”
